Liverpool have put plans in place to make a summer move for three Serie A players, including Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers flew straight out of Merseyside following the 3-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur in midweek to cast an eye over Pjanic, Radja Nainggolan and Keita Balde Diao.
Midfielders Pjanic and Nainggolan have been linked with a move away from the Italian capital in the past two transfer windows, with a number of top European clubs showing interest.
Pjanic, who has gained interest from Paris Saint Germain and Manchester United is valued at £25m, whilst Nainggolan is rated at the same price.
Rodgers is also keen to sign former Barcelona youngster Keita Balde Diao, who is also valued at around £25m.
The Reds made an offer for the striker last summer but they are confident in luring the Spanish striker to Anfield.
