Real Madrid playmaker Isco has denied reports of dressing room upset after the Spanish giants beat Deportivo La Coruna 2-0 on Saturday evening.
Talk of a dressing room divide and players falling out has burdened the reigning European champions after last weekend’s 4-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid, which was also followed by a much talked about birthday party for Cristiano Ronaldo.
However, Carlo Ancelotti’s side recovered well as goals from Isco and Karim Benzema saw them regain a four point lead at the top of La Liga.
And, former Malaga midfielder Isco has given his thoughts on the current situation and rumours linked to the club.
“It was down to sporting reasons,” the 22-year-old told reporters. “It was difficult after the rout last week.
“What the press are saying isn’t true: the unity in the dressing room is magnificent.
“After the drubbing it’s been good to fix things with a dose of humility and this team knows how to come back from tough situations.
