Manchester United are reportedly in poll position to sign the Columbian and Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca for a sum to be around £20million.

The Red Devils want to bolster there attack, as off form Radamel Falcao is returning to parent club Monaco after an unsuccessful loan spell, according to Metro, negotiations have already started with the Europa League winners.

Bacca managed to score two goals in the Europa league final on Wednesday night, which helped Sevilla win 3-2 on the night against Ukrainian club Dnipro, which secured a consecutive Europa league winners medal for the La Liga Side.

Italian sides AS Roma and AC Milan are also looking at a potential bid for Carlos Bacca, but it old Trafford looks the likely destination for the 28-year-old.

Sevilla are unlikely to sell for a cheap price and reports from Spain claim that they are asking for around £20m.

Writers View: I think that Carlos Bacca would fit into the way Van Gaal’s United team plays, as he is physical but is a fantastic finisher. But going to England wouldn’t be a step forward as his current Sevilla side are going to be in the Champions league next season.
