Jamie Vardy is a English striker who currently plays for Premier League side, Leicester City. Vardy scored 31 goals for Fleetwood in the 2011/12 and winning “Player of the Year” award.
In May 2012 he signed for Leicester City in the Football League Champonship for a non-league record transfer of £1 million.
Before joining Leicester, Vardy was not a known player in England and never made headlines, this changed when his side was promoted to the English Premier League in the 2014/15 season.
Vardy became known for his energetic style of play, and always pushing his body to the limit even if that meant an injury or a few knocks.
