Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is weighing up a move for Monaco’s Geoffrey Kondogbia, according to reports.
The 22-year-old midfielder has been a big part of Monaco’s impressive Champions League campaign and has continued to attract interest from a number of top European clubs.
His form has now attracted the attention of Liverpool boss Rodgers, who is weighing up his options to replace Steven Gerrard, who will join Los Angeles Galaxy this summer.
Liverpool are now in discussion with the Ligue 1 side about a double deal which would see Kondogbia move on a permanent deal and Radamel Falcao arrive on a one year loan deal.
Falcao is currently at Manchester United but will return to France this summer after failing to impress at Old Trafford.
Kondogbia, who has three caps for France, started his career with Lens, before joining La Liga side Sevilla in 2012.
