Manchester United have been given an asking price of £70m for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, according to Corriere dello Sport.
The French midfielder has been in impressive form once again this season and has attracted interest from a number of top European clubs, all seemingly willing to pay his high wage demands and transfer fee.
Former club United are also keen to bring the combative youngster back to Old Trafford but a quotation of £70m set by the Italian champions; is giving United officials second thoughts.
Pogba is keen to leave Serie A and ensure that he plays for a club deemed worthy of winning the Champions League.
Barcelona are strongly linked and stand as favourites to complete a deal at present, despite having a transfer ban until 2016.
