Liverpool plan move for Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere

Arsenal are ready to cash in on midfielder Jack Wilshere and have enticed Liverpool into making initial contact, according to Daily Express.

Problems on and off the field for England midfielder Jack Wilshere have seen his time at Arsenal be heavily debated in recent weeks with another recent smoking incident said to have angered boss Arsene Wenger after previous similar problems.

Wilshere has been unable to impact Arsenal’s season after more troubling injury problems, whilst his behaviour off the field has been less than impressive.

And, that has now led to a number of reports in England claiming that Arsenal have made him available for transfer at a price of £25m.

Liverpool are said to be interested as they seek to find a replacement for Steven Gerrard, who will depart the club this summer for Major League Soccer side LA Galaxy.

Sidelined since November with an ankle injury, Wilshere is unlikely to want less than his current £80,000 per week contract if he is moved out of the Emirates stadium.
