Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly close to signing Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot on a six-month loan deal.

Rabiot has struggled to hold down a first team place at Paris Saint Germain due to the form of Marco Verratti and Blaise Matuidi, causing him and his agent to find a potential club for the remainder of the season.

A whole host of clubs have been interested, with Arsenal, Roma, Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur interested, and it now seems that the latter have won the race to complete a six-month loan deal.

According to French football journalist Matt Spiro and Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport, Spurs will seal a short-term move for the 19-year-old this month.

Rabiot will move to White Hart Lane, but the deal will not include an option-to-buy clause.
