Radamel Falcao will NOT be signed on a permanent deal by Manchester United, according to reports.

Colombian striker Falcao has struggled with injuries since he moved from Atletico Madrid to Monaco last summer and has since been forced to feature less than expected for new club Man Untied.

The former Porto man was expected to make his loan move to Old Trafford a permanent one next summer with negotiations reaching a settled stage between United and Monaco officials.

However, it is now understood that United have held fire on a permanent deal due to concerns over the goalscorer’s fitness and are currently refusing to progress with any talks.

The club will decide ultimately in the New Year over a permanent deal but have been out off with Monaco’s asking price of £43m.
