Louis van Gaal says Radamel Falcao could return to the Manchester United squad against Arsenal.
The Colombia international has been struggling with a thigh injury since his arrival from Monaco this summer, making just five appearances for the Old Trafford based club.
Yet to complete a full 90 minutes in the Premier League, Falcao is now preparing himself to return to full fitness and push on, something boss Louis van Gaal claims could begin against Arsenal, though the Colombian is unlikely to start.
“No, I don’t think so because now some of them have already not played for five, six, seven weeks,” said Van Gaal about numerous injured players.
“They could sit on the bench because they can play 20 minutes but I cannot put a lot of players who are not 100% fit on the bench.
“You saw what happened with [Paddy] McNair [getting cramp against Crystal Palace] because the rhythm of the game is very high in the Premier League.”
