Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao has hit out at reports that he has been forced to have ice on his knee after every training session.

The Colombian striker spent several months out injury and missed his country’s World Cup this summer after suffering cruciate ligament damage whilst playing for Ligue 1 side Monaco.

Reports have since claimed that the former Atletico Madrid has been forced to treat his injury with ice after each training session and has been spotted nursing his problems at Carrington, the home of his new club Manchester United’s training ground.

However, Falcao has moved to deny such reports by tweeting a message on Twitter.

“One fool speculates. A few others lacking objectivity respond and millions believe lies,” the forward wrote.

“It is disastrous what a few fools can do.”
