Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has claimed that his playing style follows that of Manchester City’s Yaya Toure.
The former Manchester United man signed a new deal with Serie A side Juventus on Friday and has become a key member of their side since joining two years ago, helping them win back-to-back titles.
His boss Massimiliano Allegri feels that the French international has lots of work to do before he can become world class and the midfielder has responded in saying that he studying the best to become the best.
“I think there are lots of players still better than me, but it’s not up to me to worry about this sort of comparison,” he told Fifa.com. “I try to do my job and be the best I possibly can.
“There are lots of midfielders I admire and watching them helps me improve. I could mention, for example, Yaya Toure, who has a similar size and physique to me but more experience.
“We have more or less the same playing style, even if he’s a bit more attacking than me.”
