The agent of Barcelona defender Dani Alves has discussed the pending decision on his future, amidst interest from the likes of Chelsea.

The Brazilian full-back is widely expected to leave the Catalan club next summer when his contract expires, discussing such talks two weeks ago in a press conference where he told reporters that this season would indeed be his last at the Camp Nou.

His words led to a number of top European clubs, mainly English, to show interest with Chelsea leading the way.

Further reports in Spanish press claim that Barca have planned a new and improved contract for Alves, whilst his agent has discussed the his future.

“We have not talked with other clubs,” Dinorah Santana told Cadena Ser. “Dani wants to focus only on the field and we are not worried about the future. He will decide between December and January.”
