Football Express News understands that Borussia Dortmund winger Marco Reus remains keen on joining Barcelona.
The German international was linked with a summer exit from Dortmund but stayed with the Bundesliga club after picking up an injury before his country’s successful World Cup campaign.
Joining Barcelona in their interest was the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Real Madrid, all of whom have been constantly linked with a move.
The 25-year-old has reportedly become unhappy with life at Dortmund, and is concentrating on his future.
Whilst, Barcelona are currently not allowed to sign any players in the upcoming two transfer windows – but it is understood that Reus is keen to hold out for a move and join his former team-mate and close friend – Marc-Andre ter Stegen at the Camp Nou.
That desire is likely to be pushed by all three aforementioned clubs, with Italian side Juventus also keen to join with their interest.
Spanish side Real Madrid are expected to make a move next summer and force Reus to leave Dortmund before Barca can make a move or his contract expires in 2017.
