Guglielmo Vicario is set to leave Tottenham on loan after the north London club accepted an offer from Juventus that includes an option to buy.
The Italy international, aged 29, will travel to Turin to complete a return to Serie A, with a non-mandatory purchase option of £8.6m included in the agreement.
Juventus had previously attempted to sign Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez before those talks collapsed as the Italian club shifted focus elsewhere.
The Argentine stopper was known to be carrying an injured finger and is currently unavailable for selection, which complicated any potential move.
Juventus subsequently stepped up talks to sign Parma goalkeeper Zion Suzuki, before turning their attention back towards Vicario as a viable alternative.
Vicario lost his place in the Spurs starting lineup under head coach Roberto de Zerbi, who elevated understudy Antonin Kinsky to the number one role last season.
De Zerbi has since confirmed that Kinsky will continue as his first-choice goalkeeper going into the new campaign, ending any realistic pathway back for Vicario.
Spurs reinforced their goalkeeping options further by signing Martin Dubravka on a free transfer from Burnley in July, providing competition and cover behind Kinsky.
Vicario departs having made 117 appearances for Tottenham following his £17.2m move from Empoli back in 2023, establishing himself as a dependable presence between the posts.
His exit forms part of a significant squad overhaul at the club, which has been operating at a record spending level this summer with six new players already signed.
Spurs are also targeting two further attacking additions as they look to build a squad capable of competing at the top end of the Premier League once again.
The departures have been equally sweeping, with captain Cristian Romero, England international Djed Spence, and Yves Bissouma among those sold, loaned out, or released by the club.
