    The Three Lions will now face tournament co-hosts Mexico at the iconic Azteca Stadium in Mexico City on Monday, 6 July, with kick-off at 01:00 BST.

    The BBC’s last-16 coverage begins with France against Paraguay on Saturday at 22:00, a match that promises to be a fascinating contest.

    Paraguay arrive having pulled off one of the tournament’s biggest upsets, eliminating Germany on penalties in the previous round.

    The fourth BBC live broadcast features co-hosts the United States against Belgium on Tuesday, 7 July at 01:00, as Mauricio Pochettino’s side look to continue their historic run in the competition.

    The remaining four last-16 ties will be broadcast live on ITV, ensuring full coverage of the knockout stage across free-to-air television in the UK.
