BBC Sport has introduced a brand new predictor game to cover this year’s World Cup, available across both the BBC Sport website and app.

The game covers all 48 teams and 104 matches across the tournament, giving users the chance to predict the outcome of every single fixture.

Players must choose a winner or a draw for each match, with no option to change a prediction once it has been submitted.

The game also introduces a streak feature, rewarding players who check in every day to submit their predictions across each round of fixtures.

If a player misses a round, their streak resets to zero, adding an extra incentive to stay engaged throughout the entire tournament.

As well as the competitive element, there is also a prize draw offering three official World Cup footballs to be won by participants.

The balls have been signed by ex-France defender Gael Clichy, presenter Kelly Cates, and former England internationals Alan Shearer, Micah Richards, Joe Hart, Wayne Rooney, Ellen White and Steph Houghton.

Once a player has made their predictions, they will be given the opportunity to enter the draw by completing a short form.

The prize draw is split into three separate windows, covering different stages of the tournament to give players multiple chances to win.

The first draw runs during the group stage, the second covers the last 32 and last 16, and the third focuses on the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final.

With the World Cup now well underway, BBC Sport’s predictor offers fans a structured and rewarding way to follow every match across the tournament.

Full fixture listings, group standings, and individual team guides for every competing nation are also available on the BBC Sport platform alongside the predictor game.
