Manchester United have ended their interest in Southampton right-back Nathaniel Clyne.
United have been linked with a summer deal for Clyne, forcing current club Southampton to desperately offer a new contract to the England full-back.
Speculation over a move to Old Trafford grew last month when Daily Mirror reporter David McDonnell claimed a deal worth £17m had been agreed between the two Premier League clubs.
But it is understood that such a deal is now OFF after United informed their Premier League rivals that they were no longer interested.
