Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann wants to move to Premier League champions Chelsea, according to reports.

It is believed that the French international is wanted by Jose Mourinho as part of his plans to build a Champions League winning side this summer.

Griezmann has been in superb form this season for Atletico Madrid following his £24m switch from Real Sociedad, scoring 22 goals in 33 league games.

Tuttomercatoweb claimed earlier this week that the 24-year-old is yet to decide on his future after links with a move to Stamford Bridge, however, further reports in Spanish press now claim that the former Real Sociedad man has told Chelsea to make their move.

Griezmann has a £43m release clause in his current deal at Vicente Calderon, but that could rise to £70m if Atletico can convince him to remain in Madrid.
