David De Gea could remain at Manchester United until Real Madrid’s pending transfer ban is over, Football Express News understands.

FIFA will impose two transfer window bans on Madrid duo Real and Atletico after they repeatedly violated the riles and regulations regarding the transfers of international youth players.

Barcelona are currently banned for a similar act, and heavy reports in Spanish press now claim that both Madrid side’s have been told of their impending ban.

Whilst a ban is now expected, it is not yet understood whether or not Real Madrid and Atletico will be allowed to sign players this summer; something they could do if both appeal the embargo.

The decision from FIFA is now likely to affect Real’s move for David De Gea, who could stay at Man United until next summer, when the pending transfer ban could end.

United have recently offered the Spaniard a new and improved £200,000-per-week deal and it is understood that United officials are confident the ban will work in their favour.
