Liverpool are on the lookout to sign a quality striker, with Daniel Sturridge vulnerable to injury and Mario Balotelli having a somewhat disappointing season.
And now according to reports, the Reds have opened talks with Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund to discuss signing Immobile.
The 25-year-old has only three goals to his name for the German side this term, and its believed Dortmund could sell – less than 12 months after signing the player.
Liverpool are likely to have to pay in the region of £17m to do business, but given his previous track record for goals, it would be a bargain.
