Arsenal have sent a message to other interested parties in Palermo forward Paulo Dybala by submitting a £29.5m bid.

The 21-year-old has been in superb form this season and has gained interest from a number of top European clubs, including the likes of Man United, Liverpool, Real Madrid and Barcelona.

However, it is Arsenal who have been extremely keen on the Argentine youngster, maintaining their interest with frequent visits to Italy to watch him in action for the Serie A side.

Dybala is fully expected to leave the club this summer after his relationship with club president Maurizio Zamperini turned sour in recent weeks.

Speaking recently about his future, the youngster told Radio Belgrano: “Would I be open to a move to Barcelona? I would swim to Barcelona if they came knocking.

“I wouldn’t even have to change into my swimming gear. After all, I would only have to cross the Mediterranean Sea…”

Dybala has a contract with his current club until June 2016.
