Premier League trio Manchester United, Tottenham and Liverpool are ready to make a summer move for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette.

The French striker has scored 21 goals in Ligue 1 this season and has attracted the likes of many on-looking European sides, who have all enquired as to his current asking price, reportedly set at around £20m.

And, it is understood that Premier League trio Man United, Spurs and Liverpool are now seriously considering a summer move, with the latter keen to find a replacement for Mario Balotelli, who has struggled to make an impact at Anfield.

Spurs are also favourites to capture the Frenchman and are reportedly ready to offload Roberto Soldado and Emmanuel Adebayor.

Having watched former Lyon striker Benzema leave the club in 2009 and prosper in Spanish football with Real Madrid; Lacazette is firmly tipped to go on and replicate his success, something that Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas believes will happen.

“If we speak about efficiency, I think that Lacazette possesses the same characteristicsas Benzema,” Aulas told reporters. “The difference would be in their career. Alexandre could reach his highest level with Lyon.

“I would like to give Lacazette the chance to play for his dream club – the club he was trained with, Lyon.”

Lacazette’s current deal expires in the summer of 2018.
