A fan of Tottenham Hotspur has been arrested after punching a policeman outside the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence.
After last week’s racial incident in Paris ahead of Chelsea’s Champions League tie with Paris Saint Germain, governing body UEFA had hoped for a quiet week.
However, security warnings before Spurs’ last-32 tie with Fiorentina were raised on Thursday evening.
No major incidents were reported although one fan punched a policeman after being asked to be searched outside the ground.

The fan was later arrested and missed the 2-0 defeat to the Serie A side.
Goals from Mario Gomez and Mohamed Salah saw the Italian side progress, winning 3-1 on aggregate.
