A group of Chelsea supporters have been filmed preventing a black man from entering a Paris Metro train, before chanting racist comments and the club has now promised to take action against those involved.

The incident occurred just moments before the Blues’ Champions League draw with Paris Saint Germain at Parc des Princes.

Amateur film footage caught the incident which has now flooded social media and news sites across the internet.

The video appears to show a group of Chelsea fans denying a black man entry to a underground train, before shoving him back on to the platform, to then chant racist comments in his direction.

The fans chant “we’re racist, we’re racist and that’s the way we like it”, leading to several passengers leaving the area.

A Chelsea spokesman told Goal.com: “Such behaviour is abhorrent and has no place in football or society.

“We will support any criminal action against those involved in such behaviour and, should evidence point to the involvement of Chelsea season ticket holders or members, the club will take the strongest possible action against them, including banning orders.”
