Real Madrid eye shock bid for Tottenham striker Harry Kane

Real Madrid are eyeing a shock move for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, according to the Express.

The 21-year-old forward has impressed many at White Hart Lane this season, and his superb form for the North London club has alerted Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti.

The Express claims that the Spanish outfit will offload French striker Karim Benzema to create funds to spend on Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling and Spurs striker Harry Kane.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has dismissed talk of selling Kane though, speaking to the Express, he said:

“Harry will be at Tottenham for a long time,”

“I am the head coach, I have to take decisions in the best interests of the team and Harry is an important player for us.”

If this deal did materialise, it would certainly surprise many people around the globe, but it shows the growing talent that is coming out of England nowadays.

It is very unlikely that either Tottenham or Liverpool would want to sell one of their prized assets, but if the right transfer fee was tabled by the La Liga giants, a move could potentially occur.
