Manchester United submit £21m bid for Chelsea target Juan Cuadrado

Manchester United have submitted a £21 million bid for Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado, according to Sport Witness.

The Red Devils look set to hijack Chelsea’s move for the player in a deal that looked inevitable, and have subsequently put in a bid for the highly-rated Colombian winger.

Cuadrado has a termination fee of £26 million in his current contract at the Serie A club, so Louis Van Gaal’s side may need to re-consider their bid for the starlet.

A deal involving Adnan Januzaj going on loan to Fiorentina in return for Cuadrado is a possible option being considered, with the Belgian winger failing to hold down a regular starting role in the Red Devils starting line-up.

If United managed to sign the South American winger, it could prove to be a real coup, and help Louis Van Gaal’s side cement their status in the top four of the Barclays Premier League.

Meanwhile, Arsenal look set to beat Manchester United to Borussia Dortmund star Kevin Grosskreutz, as reported on Football Express News.
