Everton are believed to have rejected Tottenham Hotspur’s offer to swap Kevin Miralles for Aaron Lennon.
Belgian winger Miralles has 18 months left on his current deal at Goodison Park and negotiations over a new deal have since stalled.
The Belgian international has been in superb form of late and has gained interest from a number of European clubs, including Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund and Spanish champions Atletico Madrid.
Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur were said to be interested and preparing a swap deal for Aaron Lennon.
The Sun claims that Mirallas’s agent Christophe Henrotay was keen to arrange a meeting between the two clubs and force through a swap deal, but Everton have rejected such an option in the first instance.
