Preview: Everton vs. West Brom

Roberto Martinez will be hoping his Everton side can end their five-game winless streak against West Bromwich Albion on Monday night in the Premier League.

Four defeats in five games have put the pressure on Spanish boss Martinez and his Everton side, a run of form which has left them 10 points off Merseyside rivals Liverpool, who sit in eighth place.

Martinez will have to rely on late fitness tests for defensive pair Tony Hibbert and Sylvain Distin, whilst Samuel Eto’o is unlikely to feature after all-but agreeing a move to Italian side Sampdoria.

Kevin Miralles is fit and raring to go after a good run of form and it is likely that he will be included over Aiden McGeady, who is suspended.

West Brom coach Tony Pulis enjoyed a 1-0 win over Hull City last weekend and will be hoping for a similar performance from his players, especially striker Saido Berahino, who has been in superb form.

Everton’s possible eleven:

Possible starting lineup: Joel; Baines, Jagielka, Stones, Coleman; Besic, Barry; Mirallas, Naismith, Barkley; Lukaku

West Bromwich Albion’s possible eleven:

Possible starting lineup: Foster, Wisdom, McAuley, Lescott, Baird, Yacob, Morrison, Brunt, Sessegnon, Berahino, Ideye
