Oussama Assaidi has left Liverpool to join United Arab Emirates side Al Ahli on a permanent deal.
Assaidi joined Stoke City on a season-long loan last summer and had made 11 appearances for Mark Hughes’ side, but his deal was cut short, allowing him to join Al Ahli.
The Moroccan international failed to make a mark with Liverpool after arriving from Dutch side Heerenveen in the summer of 2012, despite featuring 12 times under Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are looking to sign Real Madrid defender Alvaro Arbeloa as they seek to improve their full-back options this January.
