Preview: Man City v Crystal Palace

Football Express looks ahead to Manchester City’s home tie against Crystal Palace on Saturday lunchtime.

City boss Manuel Pellegrini will be without all of his first team strikers for the visit of Crystal Palace, meaning that Jose Angel Pozo is likely to be handed another start.

Captain Vincent Kompany is also out after suffering another hamstring problem, leaving Martin Demichelis to partner Eliaquim Mangala at the heart of the defence.

City will prove tough customers for Palace having won all five of their last five Premier League matches.

Neil Warnock’s side sit just outside of the relegation zone and will be without striker Marouane Chamakh, however, Adrian Mariappa is likely to return to the side after resuming full training.
