Arsene Wenger has rubbished rumours linking Arsenal with a January move for Petr Cech of Chelsea.
Cech has hinted at looking for a new club after failing to win back his place over Thibaut Courtois, who has been in superb form for Jose Mourinho’s side.
The Czech Republic international has been linked across the city of London with Arsenal but boss Arsene Wenger has now rubbished such reports, saying that his side will not be making a move.
Wenger also noted that Lukas Podolski was continuing to push for a starting place and spoke of not having received any offers from interested parties.
“I have had no enquiries from anybody,” Wenger said.
“He faces big competition. He has an outstanding attitude and he works very hard.”
