Liverpool consider loan deal for Barcelona keeper

Liverpool are amongst a number of clubs interested in making a January move for Barcelona keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

The German international has admitted that he has found it hard to settle in Barcelona, having played second fiddle to Chilean Claudio Bravo.

“My current situation is not easy for me,” the 22-year-old told Kicker.

“I have to be patient, though. I am doing my utmost to prove myself on the training pitch and make things hard for the coach.”

Ter Stegen has kept two clean sheets in four Champions League appearances and his comments have led a number of teams in the Premier League to monitor his situation.

Manchester United have been linked, whilst Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is considering a loan offer after number one Simon Mignolet continues to struggle, conceding three more goals against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
