Saturday LIVE: Top two Chelsea & Southampton in action

Relive all the drama from another breathless day in the Premier League as league leaders Chelsea face QPR and Arsenal face Burnley.

Saturday’s three o’clock Premier League action started with a goal from free-scoring Southampton, who took the lead against Hull City after just three minutes through Victor Wanyama, who struck a 40-yard effort into the back of the net.

Earlier in the day of course, Newcastle United beat Liverpool thanks to a second half strike from Spanish striker Ayoze Perez.

An astonishing three penalty shouts in three different games in the space of one minute after 30 minutes in the 3pm kick offs.

First, Arsenal felt that Burnley’s Kieran Trippier handled Danny Welbeck’s cross, before West Brom’s Dawson appears to have used his arm against Leicester City, whilst Everton and Swansea both could have had penalties for handballs.

Bad news for West Ham United as Winston Reid limps from the field and is replaced by James Tomkins. The New Zealander has struggled for fitness this season, but has been linked with a January move to Liverpool.

League leaders Chelsea finally broke the deadlock against QPR as Cesc Fabregas broke forward before finding Oscar, who curled a brilliant shot past Rob Green.

Meanwhile, Victor Moses pounces on a shot from Bojan Krkic to give Stoke City the lead over in-form West Ham United.

HT: Arsenal 0-0 Burnley; Chelsea 1-0 QPR; Everton 0-0 Swansea; Hull 0-1 Southampton; Leicester 0-0 West Brom; Stoke 1-0 West Ham

Just the three goals at half-time in the Premier League this Saturday which sees the top two leading at half-time. Southampton could go five points ahead of third placed Man City if they hold on at Hull, whilst Chelsea are beating QPR.

A goal within seconds of the restart as Esteban Cambiasso puts the ball in his own net and gifts West Brom the lead.

Jonathan Walters does well for Stoke and gets the ball in the box which is then headed in by Mame Diouf to give Stoke a 2-0 advantage over West Ham United.

However, instantly, Enner Valencia heads in to put Sam Allardyce’s side back into the game. 2-1 to Stoke City now.

Over at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea are resting on their lead and could find themselves in trouble if QPR get an equaliser.

And, right on cue – Charlie Austin has stunned the home crowd with a leveller.

Don’t forget the big Manchester derby tomorrow which will see Louis van Gaal’s side face reigning champions Man City. The Dutch coach has had plenty to say in the build up to this one.

Arsenal are dominating, on top of the Burnley in every aspect but they are really struggling to put the ball in the back of the net.

Over in Leicester, Marcin Wasilewski elbows Saido Berahino straight in the face and but the referee misses the incident and waves play on.

GOAL over at the Emirates as Alexis Sanchez, who else, breaks the deadlock for Arsenal against Burnley.

Arsene Wenger compared the Chilean to former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez earlier this week.

Staying with Arsenal, they have now gone 2-0 up through Callum Chambers. What a quick double for Wenger’s men.

West Ham United have come from 2-0 down to level with Stoke as Stewart Downing gets on the end of Valencia’s cross and beat Asmir Begovic.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have re-taken the lead through Eden Hazard, who converted a penalty.

Swansea City’s Jonjo Shelvey has been sent off for a second bookable offence against Everton.

Theo Walcott has come on for Arsenal, making his first appearance since January 2014.

GOAL for Alexis Sanchez again, who scores his second of the game to give Arsenal a 3-0 lead over Burnley.
