Former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Lassana Diarra is expected to complete a move to Celtic in the coming days, rejecting the chance to join Tottenham Hotspur.
Diarra is a free agent having left Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow earlier this year and has been on the lookout for a new club ever since, having returned to live in his native France.
Reports linking the former Real Madrid man with a move to a number of Premier League clubs have been heard with Spurs leading the list of potential candidates.
The 29-year-old, however, is expected to arrive in Glasgow to complete a move to Celtic and will attend Saturday’s home clash with Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
A deal until the end of the season is expected to be agreed.
