However, recent reports have claimed that Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is keen to work with the Catalan defender and make a £20m move.
Super agent Francois Gallardo has claimed that the defender is unhappy under new boss Luis Enrique and is keen to leave.
And, we understand that Mourinho will discuss his interest with former Barca man Cesc Fabregas, whom is close friends with Pique and his celebrity partner Shakira.
Cesc may well be used to tempt Pique into joining Chelsea, much like Mourinho tempted the midfielder to avoid a return to Arsenal and arrive at Stamford Bridge.
