Sami Khedira makes a ‘push’ for Arsenal move

Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira has made a ‘push’ to join Arsenal, Football Express News understands.

The German midfielder has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League this season as his contract edges closer to expiration next summer.

Links to Arsenal and Chelsea have been maintained, with the latter having prepared a contract offer and submitted such to Spanish side Real Madrid.

Whilst, reports claim a cut-price move could be made in January, it is understood that Khedira is keen to wait until next summer and leave on a free transfer, which he seems keen on doing by making a move to Arsenal.

Football Express News understands that the former Stuttgart man is ready to wave his previous contract demands and accept a deal to link up with national team-mates Mesut Ozil, Per Mertesacker and Lukas Podolski.
