Belgian coach Marc Wilmots has called on Eden Hazard to score more goals for both club and country.
Hazard has been in superb form this season for Chelsea and has helped them to a healthy lead at the top of the Premier League table, however, the forward has conceded recently that he does not see himself as one of the world’s top players.
And, that view is shared by his national boss Wilmots, who believes that the former Lille man needs to score more goals.
He told Goal: “Hazard is rising higher and higher. He was at Lille for two years and was already one of the best players in France. He won the league and the cup – so he already had success.
“He started early, when he was only 17 years old. I already knew him back then. And now he is 23 and a top star at Chelsea. But he has to score more goals.
“That goes for Chelsea and the national team. Eden keeps marching on and what he has done is amazing, considering his age.”
