Liverpool eye Brazilian keeper as Valdes move looks OFF

Liverpool are looking to make a January move for Fiorentina keeper Neto as their move for Victor Valdes continues to stall, according to Goal.

The former Barcelona keeper is currently a free agent after leaving the Catalan club last season and it looked like he was set to join Liverpool earlier this month if he proved his long-term fitness.

However, such a move now seems to be off after concerns over his injury from the Merseyside club and the keeper’s large wage demands.

And, now according to Goal, Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is looking to sign Fiorentina keeper Neto as he seeks to find a suitable replacement for Simon Mignolet.

The 25-year-old Brazilian keeper will see his contract expire next summer and he is reportedly looking to leave Serie A and find a bigger club.
