Man United offer midfielder to Napoli for £15m

Football Express News understands that Manchester United have offered Marouane Fellaini has been offered to Italian side Napoli for a fee of £15m.

The Belgian midfielder arrived at Old Trafford last summer along with Scot David Moyes, but following the latter’s departure as boss – Fellaini lost his chance to play in the starting eleven.

New boss Louis van Gaal is thought to be unwilling to give the midfielder a chance in his side next season after signing Ander Herrera from Athletic Bilbao and it is understood that Fellaini has been offered to numerous clubs for a fee of £15m.

Italian clubs Inter Milan, AC Milan and Juventus have all received the offer but it is Napoli and former Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez who seem keen, discussing the potential move in a board meeting on Monday.

Reports in Italy now claim that the midfielder will arrive in Naples in the coming days to discuss a move to the club.

Shinji Kagawa has also been told he can look for a way out of Man United after falling short of Van Gaal’s plans.
