Arsenal plan summer sale with FIVE players set to leave

Football Express News understands that Arsenal will look to sell five big names this summer after completing moves for the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Mathieu Debuchy.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is looking to push on from his side’s impressive FA Cup victory last season and has already completed some shrewd signings this summer with Alexis Sanchez being the pick of the bunch, arriving from Barcelona.

Mathieu Debuchy, David Ospina and Calum Chambers have also arrived, whilst it is understood that Wenger is keen to make one or two more signings.

That has led to numerous reports that a number of current Arsenal players could be set to leave the Emirates stadium.

Santi Cazorla has been highly tipped to be one of those with Spanish champions Atletico Madrid heavily linked in recent weeks and whilst the former Malaga man made his intentions of staying clear on Monday, it is understood Arsenal officials are less than convinced.

Carl Jenkinson is also on the move as he looks set to join Hull City with a fee having been agreed, whilst Joel Campbell, Nacho Monreal and Thomas Vermaelen have been told that they can search for a new club.

Costa Rican Campbell is keen to remain in England and prove that he can convince Arsene Wenger of his ability, whilst Monreal could return to La Liga and Vermaelen has been heavily linked with Premier League rivals Manchester United.
