Football Express News understands that Liverpool are set to sign Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy after a fee was agreed on Saturday.
French striker Remy has been strongly linked with a move to Arsenal this summer and it had been expected that he would make a move to the Emirates after holding several positive talks with Gunners officials towards the end of the season.
However, a stall in those negotiations and a refusal by Arsenal to pay Remy’s asking price has now allowed Liverpool to make a move, hoping the former Marseille man can replace Luis Suarez in terms of goalscoring.
