Football Express News understands that the agent of Marco Reus is contacting a number of Premier League clubs, asking them to make a serious move for the German winger.

Reus missed the World Cup this summer in Brazil after an injury ruled him out of the tournament in Brazil but interest in him following an impressive season with Borussia Dortmund continues to grow.

Heavily linked to Barcelona, the former Borussia Monchengladbach man is said to be keen to pursue a summer move and his agent is currently trying to persuade the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United into making a bid.

United have held a long term interest with new boss Louis van Gaal keen to make an impression in the transfer window, whilst Liverpool are ready to splash the cash after selling Luis Suarez to Barcelona.

Barca, who signed Suarez two weeks ago, are now understood to have ended their interest, citing no room in their front free for the German international.

Talks between Reus’ agent and the Premier League duo continue but it is understood that Paris Saint Germain may also get the chance to make a move should neither English club be interested.
