West Ham United consider bid for Liverpool’s Italian striker

West Ham are considering a move for Fabio Borini with new boss Slaven Bilic willing to spend £8m on the striker.

Borini returned to Anfield from his loan spell with Sunderland last summer but his playing time last season was no short of four starts, with just three in the Premier League.

Having seen the likes of Daniel Sturridge and Mario Balotelli falter last season through injury and poor form, respectively – Borini has presumed he would be given chance by North Irish boss Brendan Rodgers.

However, a summer move now looks likely with Rodgers looking to the transfer window to improve his attacking options.

West Ham United are keen with boss Bilic keen to link the Italian up with impressive striker Diafra Sakho.

Bilic is willing to spend just under £10m for the striker and is ready to make a summer bid, according to various reports in English press on Tuesday morning.
