Roma have made a solid move for Real Madrid keeper Iker Casillas, Tuttomercatoweb report.

Spanish newspaper AS claim that if Manchester United keeper David De Gea arrives at Santiago Bernabeu this summer then Casillas will leave the club after a breakdown in relationship between the two Spanish international keepers.

Casillas, is reportedly keen on making a summer move to England, citing London as his desired place to live if he is forced to call time on his long and successful Real Madrid career.

The 34-year-old keeper has one last season on his current contract at the Bernabeu and has made over 530 appearances for the Spanish club.

A number of London based sides have shown interest with Tottenham Hotspur leading the list, having cited a need to replace Hugo Lloris if he is subject to bids from Man United and Paris Saint Germain this summer.

Arsenal have also been interested, whilst Crystal Palace are also surprisingly linked but it is now being heavily reported that a move to Italy with Roma could be possible.

The move would allow the Spanish international to play in the Champions League next season and explore the Serie A.
