Man City to send £10m signing out on loan

Manchester City are close to completing a £10 million move for Fulham midfielder Patrick Roberts but they will send the 18-year-old out on loan to a club outside of England for the new season.

Having made his Premier League debut against Manchester City in 2014, Roberts has since gone on to impress for the Championship side, gaining interest from a number of top flight English sides, including Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.

However, it is reported that City are leading the race to sign the talented England U19 international.

A bid of £10m is said to have been agreed by both clubs, prompting the former Premier League champions to plan a season long loan next term for the youngster.

Whilst, City boss Manuel Pellegrini is keen to rebuild his senior side for next season, Roberts will be sent out to gain valuable experience.
