Real Madrid have identified a replacement for Manchester United keeper David De Gea if they fail to sign him, according to Marca.

United keeper De Gea is strongly linked with a move to Santiago Bernabeu this summer after months and months of interest.

However, momentum in the move seems to have lost some of its pace in recent weeks with United keen to explore the possibility of signing Sergio Ramos from Madrid in exchange.

Whilst, transfer gossip continues to roll on, heightened by De Gea’s decision to put his mansion up for sale earlier this week – Madrid have been planning a second option, should they fail to sign the former Atletico Madrid stopper.

Bernd Leno has emerged as ‘plan-b’ after another impressive season for Bundesliga giants Leverkusen, whilst Madrid boss Rafa Benitez is also keen to look at Hugo Lloris, who has been tipped to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
