Phil Jones will sign a new Manchester United deal this week, agreeing an £80,000-per-week deal, according to Daily Mail.
The 23-year-old defender is out of contract at the end of next season and has seen his future at Old Trafford heavily debated in recent weeks.
His partnership with Chris Smalling towards the back end of last season was impressive but a number of transfer links had thus linked the England defender with a summer exit.
However, it is understood that United boss Louis van Gaal is keen to keep hold of the former Blackburn Rovers defender and has offered a new and improved deal.
The Daily Mail claim Jones has agreed a deal worth £80,000 per week, close to his centre back partner Smalling.
