The ongoing summer saga that is Petr Cech and his possible move from Chelsea seems to be gathering pace today, following a picture that his fellow Czech Republic international player, Tomas Rosicky has put on Instagram.

The picture shows Cech and Rosicky with arms around each other and a message saying welcome to Arsenal.

Of course the account has since been deemed an unofficial account but it is all-but certain the two will link up at Arsenal next season.

The Czech Republic international keeper, who is 33 years old, has made 333 appearances for Chelsea in 11 seasons after being bought from Rennes for £7 million.  The 114 times capped international lost his first team spot last season to Thibaut Courtois, and appears to have decided he wants to move away to a club where he will be the first choice keeper.

Writers View – No brainer this one. Arsenal have struggled in the goalkeeper department since the retirement of David Seaman, has been keepers done ok for periods of time but with no consistency. Petr Cech is still young for a keeper is proven and wants a new challenge. Arsenal strengthening their squad looking to make a serious title challenge and with Cech he strengthens them considerably.
