Chelsea’s £15m valuation of French striker Loic Remy is said to be causing the likes of Swansea City problems, Football Express News understands.

The French striker is set to leave Stamford Bridge this summer after Jose Mourinho made calls to freshen up his strike force.

The former Marseille goalscorer has been linked with a return to Ligue 1 but also to a number of Premier League sides, such as Crystal Palace and Swansea.

Palace boss Alan Pardew and Remy worked together whilst at Newcastle United and it is understood that the Selhurst Park side are favourites to sign the striker, however, another interested side in West Ham United are now reported to have been given permission to discuss terms.

However, Chelsea’s current valuation of £15m for the striker is giving interested clubs doubts as they seek to improve multiple areas in their side this summer.

Remy netted an impressive seven Premier League goals for Chelsea in a short amount of game time and played an important part in their title success.
